A Little About the Kingery Family

Music has always had an influence in our family's household. Mike played professional baseball for 17 years. This created many hours for the children to spend in the car, so singing passed the time well. When the girls were young, Grandma Marion Kingery started giving them piano lessons. She lived nearby and the girls would walk to her house to learn to play the piano. During this time, Grandma started taking the girls along with her to local nursing homes to sing and play music for the elderly.

Instruments started being added to our family when Rachel started taking guitar lessons and Anna learned to play the flute. After some time, Mike had a burden on his heart to minister to the elderly. We began singing together at local nursing homes to encourage them. Listeners began asking us to sing for church services and other events.

After being exposed to bluegrass music from different sources and events, we were inspired. Soon we were working on our own bluegrass music. Our first cd was released in August of 2009. Our second cd will be out in September of 2010.

We fully enjoy being able to sing together for the glory of God. Our prayer and vision is that our music will praise and honor our Lord Jesus and that many souls would be brought to Him.
